Thanks to everybody who joined us for the first State of the New Narrative meeting! Over twenty people joined us. I shared some of the history and concepts behind the New Narrative before opening it up to a discussion on how the project could grow, where it could go next, and how we all could be involved. I was really excited by the passion and diversity of skills and ideas people brought to the discussion.

The next meeting is confirmed for Thursday, October 1, at 7-8:30 p.m. For this meeting, we’ll be spending a bit more time talking about the concepts and ideas behind the New Narrative, as well as how we can make plans to move forward on our first set of projects and priorities.

If you’ve been following the New Narrative and it’s something you’re interested in getting more involved with, we’d love to have you join us for this meeting. On top of the work we'll be doing to grow the New Narrative as a project, we’re also envisioning this group as a community for collective growth and support. We'd love to see people get supported with their goals in other aspects of their life too, not just those that happen to coincide with New Narrative projects.
