Navigating with Compassion

2020 has been a sh*t show. We're not only fighting for social justice, suffering through a global pandemic, and fearful about the current recession, but we're also continuing to face life's normal challenges. It can seem almost unbearable.

As we navigate through uncertain times that require us to make difficult and continuous moral choices, one thing remains clear: Our society needs more compassion.

Join Compassion It founder and Stanford-trained compassion facilitator, Sara Schairer, to learn how compassion for yourself and others can help you manage these uncertain times. We'll also discuss how creating compassionate systems can create a peaceful and caring San Diego, nation, and world.

This mini-workshop can serve as an introduction to understanding compassion or a helpful retooling session for seasoned compassion warriors. There will be a mix of instruction, discussion, and breakout sessions. Be prepared to join from a space with minimal distractions and a pen and paper.

This will be the first of a potential ongoing series. We'll see how it goes!
