First Aid for the Psyche

We live in turbulent times, where we’re confronted with countless sources of outrage, anxiety, and heartbreak. Creating a better world is going to require resilient warriors, able to expand their awareness, engage in difficult conversations, and recognize where they could do better without letting it crush their spirit or ego. This all needs to happen while also recognizing and acting upon the need for effective self-care.

First-Aid for the Psyche is an interactive workshop that will offer participants tools and strategies to help them build the courage and resilience that we all need. We’ll discuss everyday habits to increase resilience, practical awareness-building and self-soothing tools, simple approaches for supportive conversations, and strategies for disarming overwhelm.

Our communities need service from all of us right now. By mentally, spiritually, and emotionally preparing yourself, you’ll be able to better show up and address the needs of your community with a full and open heart.
