The COVID-19 lockdown continues and many of us are feeling lonely, isolated, nervous, unsure of what’s going on, and probably a bit crazy.
It’s times like this that having a community of open and supportive people in your life can be especially important. It can help you voice your feelings and find out that you’re not alone.
We’re going to host what we’re calling a Community Check-In call. If you’re reading this, you’re welcome to join.
The format is pretty simple. We just go around the room and share our thoughts on four questions.
1) What are you grateful for?
2) What are you working on?
3) What are you worried about?
4) What give you hope?
This is all based off a series of meetups we hosted shortly after the 2016 election. It helped us all better wrap our heads around what was happening and feel a little less crazy and alone through it all. It ended up being a very helpful and redemptive experience for a lot of folks.
We’ll host the check-in via Zoom. If the group gets too big, we can break it into smaller “virtual rooms.” If you’re open to helping to facilitate one of those rooms as needed, please let us know.
Here is the link. If you're reading this, you're invited. We'll see you there.
